So you have cracked fuel injector mounts? A common problem that will eventually happen to every Z with plastic mounts. Issues it can cause are vacuum leaks and rough idle. That’s because, while the plastic is great at resisting heat due to it’s low thermal conductivity. It can’t handle the thermal cycle stresses over time, and they will all eventually fail. And the problem with metal holders is they can heat up quick because they have high thermal conductivity. This can make the heat soak issues these cars are known for even worse. But what if you can have both, the low thermal conductive characteristics of plastic holders with the robustness of metal holders. Well now you can, our holders are machined from a solid block of 6061 aluminum. And optimized to beat the heat using a combination of an ultra low thermal conductive PTFE gasket. And a Cerakote ceramic coating to create an outstanding thermal barrier to resist heat soaking up from the engine. These also feature built in heatsink fins that will help these cool off quickly with the factory injector fan. See the graph in the Pictures above to see how it compares to the factory mount.

Installation tips:
You can follow the FSM instructions to install these mounts. The only difference is you will install the mounts with the PTFE thermal barrier gaskets in-between the new aluminum mount and the intake manifold. The PTFE thermal barrier gaskets will be touching the gold Cerakote coating when installed properly. Also see the exploded view in the pictures to see how the assembly goes together. 
The top stainless steel injector retainer plates are thicker then stock. So it is a tighter fit but does fit and will not bend like the factory retainers. 
Injector mount 4 is located next to one of the fuel rail mounting points. It is a tight fit, and the reason why the mounts have a big chamfer on the bottom. Most people use a combination wrench to remove and tighten this fuel rail mounting bolt. But If you are good with a really long extension and a wobbly socket you can reach this bolt. But be sure to leave the injector 4 mount loose to give you a bit more room for a socket to fit. Then once the fuel rail mount is tight be sure to tighten the injector 4 mount.
